What does the future hold for former Song Lam Nghe An goalkeeper Le Van Hung?
At this point, former Song Lam Nghe An goalkeeper Le Van Hung still doesn't know which team he will play for in the new season.
According to statistics, in the group stage, Le Van Hung was included in the starting lineup for Bac Ninh Club in 11 out of 12 matches. The only time Le Van Hung was not used by coach Ngo Quang Truong was in the formality match against Tay Nguyen Gia Lai.
It's worth noting that in those 11 matches, the goalkeeper born in 1992 kept a clean sheet in 8 of them with his outstanding reflexes. This is clear evidence of Le Van Hung's talent and contribution to Bac Ninh Club's overall success in the 2024 National Second Division League.
Before joining Bac Ninh Club, Le Van Hung played for Song Lam Nghe An and Quang Nam. The 32-year-old goalkeeper's most impressive achievements at Vinh Stadium were winning the 2017 National Cup, while at Tam Ky Stadium he won the 2023 National First Division Championship.
Reportedly, the contract between Le Van Hung and Bac Ninh Club ended immediately after the match against Ho Chi Minh City Youth Team on June 17th. The former goalkeeper of Song Lam Nghe An and Quang Nam stated that he does not yet know which team he will play for next season.
Hopefully, with what he has shown so far, Le Van Hung will quickly find a new club or be retained by Bac Ninh Club. Don't forget, Le Van Hung was the best goalkeeper at the 2009 National U17 Championship.
