Russian General: Ukrainian Army Uses Last Reserve Forces

According to TASS, Deputy Head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Commander of the Akhmat special forces, Major General Apty Alaudinov said that the reserve forces that the Ukrainian army used to try to attack the border with the Kursk region were the last.

“I think that in the coming days we will destroy these resources, the last reserves that the enemy has accumulated,” said Major General Alaudinov.

According to General Alaudinov, by destroying this last source of Ukrainian forces, Russia will reach the finish line and complete the special military operation.

Previously, on August 6, in a video posted on social media, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky suddenly announced that Ukraine plans to prepare the basis to achieve fair peace with Russia "as early as 2024".

“Our permanent goal is to prepare the real basis for a fair end to the war this year,” Mr. Zelensky declared.

President Zelensky has recently signaled that he wants to end the conflict “as soon as possible” and is ready to negotiate with the Moscow delegation, regardless of who is in charge of Russia. This contradicts the decree he signed in the fall of 2022, which prohibits any negotiations with Russia.

And yet, this decree has not been lifted.
