Ukrainian army general warns West is in big trouble.
(Baonghean.vn) - A general of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has warned that Europe and the US will face serious trouble if they stop supporting Kyiv.
According to Ria Novosti, in an interview with CNN, General Viktor Nazarov of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated that Europe and the United States would face dangerous problems if the West stopped providing economic and military aid to Kyiv.
"If we cannot win, then in the future there will be many more problems, not only for Ukraine and its people, but also for Europe and the United States," General Viktor Nazarov shared on CNN.
The Ukrainian general also noted that the statement by the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valery Zaluzhny, regarding the stalemate was an alarming signal to Kyiv's Western allies.
Earlier reports of the Russian army gaining almost complete control of Marynka indicated a growing risk of Ukraine falling.
Russian armed forces have effectively gained control of several streets in the far southwest of Marynka; however, Ukrainians are still tenaciously holding their ground and maintaining a presence in some homes in the northwestern suburbs of the city. Nevertheless, under increasing pressure, the complete decline of the Ukrainian armed forces is entirely predictable.
The Russian 103rd Regiment stated that the city of Marynka in Donetsk is almost under Russian control. Once captured, Russia could establish a strong base in the western Marynka lake region and create numerous potential attack fronts from any direction.
According to Ria Novosti, Russia has repeatedly stated that Western military support does not bring "good fortune" to Ukraine, but only prolongs the conflict. Meanwhile, the shipment of weapons to Kyiv has become a legitimate objective of the Russian military.
