Ukrainian General: Missiles are losing effectiveness against Russian electronic warfare.

According to Ria Novosti, in an interview with the Pryamoy television channel, Major General Sergei Krinovos, former deputy commander of Ukraine's special forces, stated that Russia has created such powerful electronic warfare systems that the missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are gradually losing their effectiveness.

"Russia's electronic warfare capabilities are very strong and extensive. Over the past 20 years, Russia has developed and profoundly modernized these systems to the point where Ukraine cannot effectively use drones or even high-precision missiles," General Kirinovos stated.

At the same time, the general noted that it was precisely this air power that allowed Russia to "freely" use UAVs to destroy equipment and personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Earlier in May, General Kirinovos made several statements about the Russian military, because he wanted to "assess the situation soberly." According to Kirinovos, the Russian military has significant advantages that complicate the counter-offensive capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In fact, Ukraine is dealing with a country with a strong economy, which is also dealing with a large Russian army.

According to the general, the Kiev government is unlikely to achieve its goals.

Western experts have repeatedly acknowledged and highly praised the effectiveness of Russian electronic warfare systems. Former Pentagon advisor, Colonel Douglas McGregor, stated that Russia's domestic electronic warfare capabilities are strong in suppressing the electronic equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Military analyst Frank-Stefan Gadi added that the Russian military had "neutralized" Ukraine's HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system with powerful electronic warfare systems. According to him, the combat capability of the US multiple rocket launcher systems in Ukraine has ended.
