Two students commended for returning lost items to their owners.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 21st, the Executive Committee of the Que Phong District Youth Union awarded certificates of commendation to Lu Hoang Giap, a student in class 6A2, and Lo Minh Duc, a student in class 6A1, of Kim Son Town Secondary School, for returning lost items to their owners.

Earlier, on November 13th, while on their way home from school, the two students found a wallet containing personal documents and over 1 million VND in cash. They then went to the Que Phong District Police Station to return it to its owner, Mr. Tran Dinh Quy, residing in Block 5, Kim Son Town.

With that action, the Executive Committee of the Que Phong District Youth Union commended the two students for their achievements in the "Thousand Good Deeds - Finding Lost Items and Returning Them to Their Owners" movement. The commendation ceremony contributed to encouraging the "thousand good deeds" emulation movement, striving to be good children, good students, and good grandchildren of Uncle Ho for the students of the school.

On this occasion, the Youth Union Executive Committee, the Police Youth Union of Kim Son District, and Kim Son Secondary School also organized a memorial ceremony for victims who died in traffic accidents and disseminated legal education on traffic safety to 250 students.
