Commending 95 exemplary workers in Nghe An province for following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings in 2024.
(Baonghean.vn) - 95 exemplary individuals were honored, all direct laborers selected by trade unions at various levels from nearly 100,000 union members who are workers in the business sector.
On the morning of May 18th, the Provincial Labor Union organized the "Nghe An Workers Following Uncle Ho's Teachings" exemplary commendation ceremony for 2024, aiming to honor and reward workers who have strived, overcome difficulties, and achieved many outstanding accomplishments in labor and production.
Attending the event were Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; along with members of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor; representatives from relevant departments and agencies, and 95 exemplary workers who were honored as outstanding "Nghe An workers following Uncle Ho's teachings" in 2024.
The event took place in a vibrant atmosphere of emulation to celebrate the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, in response to the "Workers' Month" in 2024, and in emulation towards the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Over the years, thanks to the leadership and attention of the Party Committee, and the effective coordination of the government and relevant departments, the trade union activities in Nghe An province have achieved many outstanding results. The working class in Nghe An has developed rapidly in both quantity and quality, with a diverse structure and many fields of production and business. They are the main force operating production tools and transferring new technologies, meeting the requirements of the industrialization and modernization trend of agriculture and rural areas.
To date, Nghe An province has a total of over 320,000 workers and employees, of which more than 190,000 are workers and employees in units with trade unions. The number of direct laborers in enterprises alone is over 100,000.
