Coach Kim Sang-sik needs to make changes to the Vietnamese national team in the near future if he doesn't want to repeat the mistakes of his predecessor, Park Hang-seo.

After winning the ASEAN Cup,Coach Kim Sang-sik has raised many hopes by calling up more than a dozen new players to the Vietnamese national team during training camps from March to the present.

However, reality has not lived up to expectations; "calling many players but using few" is the most accurate phrase to describe coach Kim Sang-sik's philosophy so far.

Coach Kim Sang-sik's decision is understandable, as the South Korean strategist needs stability and experience from veteran players.

Coach Harry Kewell's debut match with Hanoi FC started with great enthusiasm but ended in disappointment.
