(Baonghean.vn) - White snow continues to cover many villages in western Nghe An province, causing many buffaloes and cows to die from the cold, including 79 in Que Phong district alone.

In particular, the communes of Quang Phong, Tri Le, Nam Nhoong, Chau Thon, and Que Son reported 10 to 20 deaths, while other communes reported 9 deaths or fewer. The People's Committee of Que Phong district promptly established a Steering Committee to direct and send officials to the grassroots level to inspect and guide farmers in caring for, sheltering, and protecting their cattle from the cold.
