Thai Hoa Town: Campaign launched to clear encroachments on the sidewalk at Hieu Market.

(Baonghean.vn) - On April 14th, the inter-agency team of Hoa Hieu ward, in coordination with the Traffic Police team (Thai Hoa town police), organized an operation to clear encroachments and disseminate fire prevention and control information at Hieu market.

Recently, the awareness and compliance with fire safety regulations and rules among traders at Hieu Market have been low. The practice of burning incense for worship and selling flammable and explosive items such as gasoline and gas within the market, as well as goods encroaching on walkways, still occurs, posing a potential fire hazard.

In response to this situation, on the morning of April 14th, a joint inter-agency team from Hoa Hieu ward, in coordination with the Traffic Police team (Thai Hoa town police), organized an operation to clear encroachments and conduct fire safety awareness campaigns at Hieu market.

The inter-agency team organized the removal of illegal encroachments and disseminated fire safety knowledge to traders in the market.

The delegation requested the market management board to regularly disseminate information and knowledge about fire prevention and control to business owners and customers; to remind them about ensuring fire safety and preventing explosions when using electricity, gas, and open flames, especially during peak hours with many customers and when preparing to close stalls. They also requested that fire safety inspections be conducted to promptly detect and address any factors that could cause fires; and that violations of fire safety regulations and rules be resolutely dealt with.
