In recent trading, the US Dollar Index (DXY) rose 0.27% to 106.98, driven by better-than-expected inflation data. The euro fell after the ECB cut interest rates for the fourth time this year. A report from the US Department of Labor showed that producer prices rose 0.4% in November, exceeding forecasts of 0.2%, reinforcing expectations that the Fed will cut interest rates next week.

The ECB cut interest rates by 25 basis points and left open the possibility of further easing, causing the euro to fall 0.2% to $1.0473. The Swiss National Bank cut interest rates by 50 basis points, pushing the dollar up 0.78% to 0.89135 francs.

The US dollar also edged higher against the Japanese yen, reaching 152.525 yen, as market expectations for a Bank of Japan interest rate hike diminished. The Australian dollar fell 0.06% to $0.6365, following a sharp drop in Australian unemployment figures in November.

On the domestic market, at the beginning of trading on December 13, the State Bank of Vietnam announced that the central exchange rate of the Vietnamese Dong against the US Dollar increased by 6 dong, currently at 24,259 dong.
