Tyra Banks has a baby through surrogacy

On January 28, the black supermodel suddenly announced that she had a son on her personal page and confirmed that she and her boyfriend used surrogacy.

On Instagram on January 28, Tyra Banks wrote: "The wonderful gift that we worked so hard and prayed for is finally here. He has my fingers, big eyes and a mouth just like his dad Erik. And we want to thank the wonderful woman who carried our son. We hope that others in the same situation can enjoy this happy moment. Baby Banks Asla, welcome to this world."

Tyra Banks became a mother at the age of 42, thanks to surrogacy.

The 42-year-old supermodel also posted a photo of her son's cute little hat. Banks Asla is the son of Tyra Banks and photographer Erik Asla.

In an interview with AccessHollywood, Tyra Banks revealed that she was infertile. She had previously put off having children when she was young to focus on her career. Recently, despite stopping all work to try to have a baby, she found that things were harder than she thought.

"When I was 23, I told myself I was going to have kids in three years. Then when I was 24, I kept telling myself that. And year after year, I kept putting it off. When I finally did want kids, it wasn't easy," says Tyra Banks.
