U11 Song Lam Nghe An wins the national championship for the 8th time.

The match between U11 Bac Ninh and U11 Song Lam Nghe An took place on the afternoon of August 7th at the Bac Ninh Provincial Sports Arena.

Before reaching the final, U11 Song Lam Nghe An had a series of convincing results. Coach Quang Tho's team achieved a perfect winning record, scoring 16 goals and conceding only 3. In the semi-final, U11 Song Lam Nghe An successfully came from behind to defeat U11 Thai Nguyen 3-1, thus securing their place in the final.

Meanwhile, U11 Song Lam Nghe An's opponent, U11 Bac Ninh, also had a very successful tournament. After losing to coach Quang Tho's team in the first match of the group stage with a score of 2-3, the host team Bac Ninh overcame their weaknesses to win two consecutive matches, thus securing their place in the quarterfinals. In the knockout round, U11 Bac Ninh defeated U11 Hung Yen with a minimal score of 1-0. And in the semi-final, U11 Bac Ninh won on penalties against U11 Viet Hung Thanh Hoa.

Given the achievements of both teams, this encounter is considered a dream final. However, in terms of playing style and individual players, U11 Song Lam Nghe An is still considered slightly superior. The team from Nghe An possesses outstanding players like Duc Anh and Ba Duan, who can single-handedly change the course of a match. Nevertheless, with the home advantage, Bac Ninh could still spring a surprise against the formidable strength of the North Central team.

And as expected, the first half of the match unfolded with breathtaking moments. As soon as the ball was kicked off, as usual, U11 Song Lam Nghe An completely took control and put immense pressure on Bac Ninh's half of the field.

In the 8th minute, U11 Song Lam Nghe An created a golden opportunity in front of the home team's goal, but Duc Anh's close-range shot could not beat goalkeeper Trong Dat (Bac Ninh).

Shortly afterwards, coach Quang Thọ's players continued to create heart-stopping moments for the Bắc Ninh fans. The ball rolled past the home team's goal, but luckily no player from Nghệ An made contact with it.

In the following minutes, U11 Song Lam Nghe An continuously launched a series of attacks on Trong Dat's goal, but neither Ba Duan nor Duc Anh could find the back of the net. Therefore, the first 20 minutes of the match ended without either side scoring.

In the second half, Song Lam Nghe An continued to dominate the game against the home team. In the 22nd minute, after receiving a well-placed through pass from a teammate, Duc Anh had a one-on-one opportunity with goalkeeper Trong Dat. However, the curling shot from the number 10 striker missed the target.

Faced with a relentless barrage of attacks from multiple directions, the U11 Bac Ninh defense could not hold firm. In the 39th minute, coach Quang Tho's players opened the scoring. Goalkeeper Gia Bao received the ball after a teammate's throw-in, and unleashed a powerful shot from his own half, causing Trong Dat to make a mistake and have to pick the ball out of the net.

In the final minutes of the match, U11 Bac Ninh launched a strong comeback in an attempt to equalize, but without success. Thus, with a 1-0 victory, U11 Song Lam Nghe An officially won their 8th championship title at the 2024 National Children's Football Tournament.
