U15 Song Lam Nghe An is drawn into a tough group in the 2025 U15 National Championship qualifiers.
On June 3rd, the Vietnam Football Federation officially announced the list of participating teams and the schedule for the qualifying round of the 2025 National U15 Championship. Accordingly, U15 Song Lam Nghe An is in Group B - a group considered the "group of death" as it includes the defending champion U15 PVF.
Group B will take place at the PVF Youth Football Training Center and will feature 5 teams: Host team U15 PVF,U15 Song Lam Nghe An, U15 Hanoi Sports Training and Competition Center, U15 Dong A Thanh Hoa and U15 The Cong Viettel II.

This is a big challenge for coach Le Manh Huy and his team because, besides the defending champions U15 PVF, the remaining opponents such as U15 Dong A Thanh Hoa and U15 Hanoi Sports Training and Development Center are all highly regarded teams with well-rounded and promising squads.
U15 Song Lam Nghe An will travel north to participate in the qualifying round with 24 players, departing on June 13th. According to the schedule, the team from Nghe An will face U15 Dong A Thanh Hoa in their opening match.
The qualifying round of the 2025 National U15 Championship features 29 teams divided into 6 groups, including: Dak Lak, PVF, Khanh Hoa, Tay Ninh, Thong Nhat Sports Center, Hong Linh Ha Tinh, Dong A Thanh Hoa, The Cong Viettel, Hue, Nam Dinh, Hanoi, Luxury Ha Long, An Giang, Binh Thuan, Tien Giang, Binh Phuoc, Dong Thap, Song Lam Nghe An, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Can Tho, Hai Phong, SHB Da Nang, Hanoi Sports Training and Development Center, The Cong Viettel II and Dao Ha Football Center.
According to the regulations, teams in each group will play a round-robin format with home and away matches. After the group stage, the top 6 teams from each of the 6 groups will qualify directly for the finals. In addition, the 5 best-performing second-placed teams and the host team will also participate, bringing the total number of teams in the finals to 12.
According to the plan, the qualifying rounds will take place from June 19th to July 13th. The finals are scheduled to be held from July 20th to August 1st.
The National U15 Championship is an important competition within the VFF's youth tournament system. It serves as a platform for discovering and nurturing football talents at the U15 age group, contributing to the development of future generations for the U16 and U17 national teams.
