The Vietnam U17 team arrived in Ehime Prefecture (Japan) on the afternoon of November 6th, beginning a training camp lasting over a week to finalize preparations for the 2026 AFC U17 Asian Qualifiers. The team will play three friendly matches against U18 Imabari (November 8th), Matsuyama University (November 11th), and U18 Ehime (November 13th) before returning to Vietnam on November 15th.

Results of the pre-trip friendly match
Before traveling to Japan, the Vietnam U17 team concluded their domestic training camp with a "return" friendly match against Cambodia U17 at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center.
