Previously on November 3, U17 Vietnam also won 5-0 in the first friendly match. Chu Ngoc Nguyen Luc and Nguyen Trong Dai Nhan scored in the first half; in the second half, the goals belonged to Nguyen Minh Thuy, Nguyen Van Duong and Tran Manh Quan respectively.

2026 AFC U17 Championship Qualifiers: Schedule, Group Stage and Stadium
Vietnam U17 is in Group C with Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong (China), Macau (China) and the Northern Mariana Islands. The matches will take place from November 22 to 30, 2025 in Hanoi and Hung Yen, at two stadiums: Vietnam Youth Football Training Center and PVF Youth Football Training Center.
