On the afternoon of March 30th, the Vietnamese U20 women's team continued their second training session in Bangkok (Thailand), actively finalizing preparations for the 2026 AFC U20 Women's Championship Finals.

In a serious and highly focused training atmosphere, the entire team maintained a high intensity of exercise, closely following the training plan set by the coaching staff.

Professional training programs are implemented comprehensively, ranging from physical fitness and improved coordination to game organization and tactical discipline, to ensure optimal readiness before the tournament begins.

Before the training session, striker Luu Hoang Van shared that the team had been preparing thoroughly in recent times:

"The Vietnam U20 women's team has been training and preparing very seriously, adhering to the tactics of the coaching staff over the past period in preparation for the 2026 AFC U20 Women's Championship."

Indonesia lost at home, missing out on the championship title.

The Indonesian team was unable to hold their own against their younger opponents and had to concede the championship.

Facing Bulgaria, the Indonesian team operated very solidly, in the way we often see from a Southeast Asian team that uses many foreign players. However, the sharpness, good finishing, or the modern, highly effective style of play that we had hoped for were absent.

Host nation Indonesia lost 0-1 to Bulgaria. The only goal of the match was scored by Marin Petkov from a penalty in the 38th minute.

In the second half, the Ghana team made several substitutions and were ready to play more aggressively in attack. The African team began to create opportunities before equalizing 1-1 in the 70th minute.

The period that followed saw Germany's game become deadlocked, and it seemed the match would end in a draw. However, Deniz Undav became Germany's hero in the 88th minute when he received a header from Leroy Sane and leaped to score, securing a 2-1 victory.

Germany concluded their FIFA Days 2026 friendly matches with two narrow victories. Julian Nagelsmann's team won 4-3 against Switzerland and 2-1 against Ghana.
