On the afternoon of November 11th, the Investigation Police Department of Can Tho City Police initiated a criminal case, charged the suspect, and issued an arrest warrant for Ms. Le Minh Tien (53 years old, residing in Hung Phu ward, Cai Rang district, Can Tho City) for the crime of "Fraudulent appropriation of property".

Simultaneously, Ms. Tran Ngoc Cam (55 years old, residing in Thoi Hung commune, Co Do district, Can Tho city), an accomplice of Ms. Tien, was also placed under criminal detention for the same offense.

According to initial investigations, from the end of 2014 to the present, Ms. Tien and Ms. Cam have forged land use right certificates (land titles), power of attorney documents, etc., and then used them as collateral to fraudulently seize assets.
