The Provincial People's Committee requests increased fire prevention and control measures during the Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse) 2026.
The Provincial People's Committee issued Official Letter No. 14782/UBND-NC dated December 30, 2025, implementing Prime Minister's Directive No. 244/CĐ-TTg dated December 27, 2025, regarding the fire in Hoa Phu commune, Dak Lak province.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee requests the directors of departments, heads of provincial agencies, and chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and wards to continue strictly implementing the Prime Minister's directives on fire prevention and fighting; especially Directive No. 01/CT-TTg dated January 3, 2023, and other directives of the Provincial People's Committee on fire prevention, fighting, and rescue in the province.
The Provincial People's Committee emphasized the need to strengthen propaganda, guidance, and enforcement of regulations on fire safety, especially at facilities and constructions with a high risk of fire and explosion; proactively deploy forces and equipment, and be ready to promptly handle fire and explosion incidents to minimize damage.
Units and localities must ensure the safety of people's lives, health, and property, especially during the New Year's Day, Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse), and the Spring Festival season of 2026.
