Ukraine's goal is not only to end the fighting, but also to ensure that the conflict does not recur. Russia has gained control of another village in the Donetsk region.

According to Pravda, on June 29, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba outlined the goals that Kyiv is aiming for in its efforts to end the conflict.

"Ukraine's goal is not just to restore the borders and hold Russia accountable, but also to ensure that a new conflict cannot occur. That is the victory Ukraine is aiming for," Kuleba said.

Foreign Minister Kuleba acknowledged that the path to peace is not easy, but it is Kyiv's only option. He also emphasized the importance of the upcoming summit, pledging to work with the international community to find a lasting peace solution.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Kyiv was preparing a "comprehensive plan" to end the conflict, and that this plan would be ready by the end of 2024.
