Ukraine tries to use UAVs to attack Moscow's inner city and suburbs
Russian electronic warfare means promptly thwarted Ukraine’s attempts to use UAVs to attack targets in Moscow and its suburbs. The Ukrainian drone was shot down and crashed in a deserted area, causing no casualties or damage, the Russian Defense Ministry announced.

"Today, the next attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using UAV-type drones on objects in Moscow and its suburbs was prevented," the statement said.
According to data from the Russian military, the air defense forces on duty promptly detected the enemy drone. The UAV was suppressed by electronic warfare and, due to loss of control, crashed in a deserted area near the Putilkovo residential area of the Krasnogorsk city district on the outskirts of Moscow.
The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that there were no casualties or damage in the area.
Military campaign in Donbass
Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on February 24. President Putin called its goal "to protect those who have been subjected to repression and genocide by the Kiev regime for the past eight years." He noted that the special military operation was a forced measure, Russia "has no other options, the security risk has been created to such an extent that it is impossible to respond with other measures."
According to him, Russia has been trying for 30 years to come to terms with NATO on security principles in Europe, but in response it has been met with either cruel deception and lies, or pressure and blackmail, while the alliance, despite Moscow's objections, has gradually expanded and approached the borders of the Russian Federation.
