Ukraine continues its attacks on warehouses belonging to the "Amazon of Russia".
On July 22, Ukraine launched its second attack in just one week on logistics centers belonging to Wildberries, Russia's largest e-commerce platform. Kyiv claims these facilities are involved in supporting the Russian military, while Moscow says the attack resulted in at least one death.
According to Russian officials, Ukrainian drones attacked Wildberries warehouses in the Krasnodar region of southern Russia.
Krasnodar region governor Vladimir Kondratyev said the raid resulted in one death, but it was not yet determined whether the victim was at the Wildberries warehouse or elsewhere.
This is the second time in a week that Wildberries facilities have been attacked by Ukraine. Previously, on July 18, Ukrainian drones caused major fires at one of the company's logistics centers on the outskirts of Moscow, killing eight people.
Wildberries CEO Tatiana Kim confirmed that the company's logistics centers in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk were attacked and employees had to be evacuated.
"No words can describe the feeling when ordinary citizens and our staff become targets of attacks," Ms. Kim said.
On the Ukrainian side, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the attacks targeted logistics centers "involved in supplying drone components, navigation equipment, and other military equipment to the Russian army." Earlier, he also accused Wildberries of storing components used in the production of UAVs.
Zelensky said that on the same day, Ukraine also attacked an oil storage facility, an oil tanker, and four cargo ships in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, amid increased attacks by Kyiv aimed at disrupting Russian logistics and transportation.
According to Ukraine, the attacks were aimed at weakening Russia's ability to conduct military operations and forcing Moscow to engage in negotiations to end the more than four years of conflict.
Meanwhile, the United Nations said on July 21 that civilian casualties in the conflict had increased by 37% in the first half of 2026.
