Ukraine requests urgent assistance from five European countries.
Ukraine has requested assistance from five countries to provide emergency electricity following the Russian attack.

According to RIA Novosti, following a major Russian military attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, the country has requested electricity imports from five neighboring countries.
Ukrenergo announced on its Telegram channel that imports will be completed within 24 hours from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova. According to Ukrenergo, the total capacity will be 13,447 MW/hour, with a maximum capacity of up to 1,098 MW per hour.
All areas and households are required to apply hourly power outage schedules, and power restrictions are in place for industrial and business establishments.
On December 13, the Russian Armed Forces attacked crucial Ukrainian energy and fuel complexes that ensure the operation of the military-industrial complex. This major attack was a response to Ukraine's use of six ATACMS missiles targeting a military airfield in Taganrog on December 11.
The Russian Defense Ministry said all intended targets were hit. The attack used high-precision long-range weapons from the air and sea, as well as attack drones.
Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko said: “The enemy continues to wreak havoc. Energy infrastructure throughout Ukraine is under intense attack once again.”
President Volodymyr Zelensky said this was one of the biggest attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure in the past three years. He said Russia launched at least 93 missiles and 200 drones.
