Candidates for the 16th National Assembly and the 19th Provincial People's Council met with voters in six communes in the southwestern region of Nghe An province.
On the morning of March 6th, candidates for the 16th National Assembly, electoral district No. 1, and candidates for the 19th Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031, electoral district No. 3, met with voters and campaigned in the communes of Con Cuong, Chau Khe, Mau Thach, Mon Son, Binh Chuan, and Cam Phuc.
The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation, at various locations across the six communes.

The candidates for the 16th National Assembly include: Hoang Minh Hieu - National Assembly delegate at the Committee on Law and Justice; Hoang Thi Thu Trang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Department of Justice; Lo Thi Bao Vy, Teacher at Quynh Lap A Primary School, Tan Mai Ward; Bui Thi Thu Hien - Member of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee, specialist in the Administrative and Judicial Affairs Department, Nghe An Department of Justice; Mong Thi Thuan, Teacher, Party Committee member of Nam Nhoong Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary and Secondary School.
The candidates for the 19th term of the Provincial People's Council include: Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Hoai An - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Con Cuong commune; Luong Van Khanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion; Mong Thi Bun - Specialist of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion; Lo Thi Nam Hang - Civil servant of the Party Committee of Con Cuong commune.
At the conference, voters heard brief biographies of the candidates for the National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council, and listened to the candidates present their action programs if elected by the voters.

The action programs focus on various aspects such as promoting the role of representing the will and aspirations of the people; promoting socio-economic development; improving people's lives; strengthening the oversight of elected bodies; and at the same time paying attention to the economic development of mountainous areas, sustainable poverty reduction, and preserving the cultural identity of ethnic groups in the region.

At the conference, voters from the communes also expressed their agreement and trust in the candidates' action programs, and hoped that if elected, the delegates would continue to pay more attention to issues related to people's livelihoods, economic development, infrastructure, and improving the lives of the people in the area.
The voter outreach conference is an opportunity for candidates for the National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council to directly meet and exchange views with voters, thereby helping voters gain more information to choose outstanding representatives who are virtuous and talented, and who represent the will and aspirations of the people.
