According to the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee, organizing a training course for alternate members of the Party Central Committee is the first time the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy has been assigned by the Politburo to organize such a course.
According to Mr. Tran Quoc Vuong, the trainees selected by the Central Committee to attend this course are alternate members of the Central Committee, an important source of future cadres for the Party.
"Along with gaining practical experience in local units, comrades must also regularly receive training and education, updating their knowledge of theory, consolidating and enhancing their awareness, political acumen, revolutionary stance, building a vision and strategic thinking, cultivating revolutionary ethics, work style, and leadership and management skills to handle situations in order to meet the increasingly high demands of the cause of building and defending the Fatherland," the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee said.

He urged the alternate members to consider this a valuable opportunity: "Dedicate all your time and effort to studying and learning. Maximize your sense of responsibility, strictly adhere to the class regulations and academy rules, and successfully complete the tasks and objectives assigned by the Politburo and the Secretariat."
The Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee hopes that the course will truly be a forum for trainees to exchange and discuss, aiming to gain a clearer and deeper understanding of new theoretical and practical issues, and to share practical experiences in professional work of those holding key positions as officials in central agencies and provinces and cities.
He also expressed hope that upon completing the course, the alternate members would accumulate knowledge and skills, gain more confidence, and be better equipped to fulfill their political duties.
Furthermore, the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee also emphasized the role of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy in organizing this course, noting that it is an opportunity for the academy to affirm its new position with increasingly important tasks before the Party, the State, and the people.

Speaking on behalf of the trainees, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee Ngo Dong Hai said that this was a special opportunity for the alternate members to temporarily step away from their work and focus on in-depth research into theoretical issues concerning the Party's guidelines, viewpoints, and policies on state management, social management, and knowledge of national security and defense.
It also provides a rare opportunity for alternate members to hear about best practices and exchange ideas on their work.
"We promise to study with the utmost seriousness, responsibility, and discipline," Mr. Hai said.
