Collision between a car and an electric bicycle leaves one person dead.
A traffic accident recently occurred in Thanh Phong commune (Thanh Chuong district), resulting in the immediate death of an elderly man.
At 6:45 AM on October 4th, a traffic accident occurred on National Highway 7B, in the section passing through Thanh Phong commune, involving a truck and an electric bicycle.
At that time, the truck and the electric bicycle were traveling in the same direction from Thanh Phong to Thanh Dong when they collided in the Nong Market area.
The powerful collision resulted in the immediate death of Mr. Tran Van Th. (over 80 years old), the driver of the electric bicycle, residing in Hamlet 1, Thanh Phong Commune.
Following the accident, authorities arrived at the scene to regulate traffic and handle the incident.
It is known that Mr. Th. is a retired official. The electric bicycle he was riding was recently purchased.
