Collision between truck and motorbike leaves two casualties.
At 1:25 PM on May 6th, a traffic accident occurred at Km707+230 on the Ho Chi Minh Highway, in Lang Son commune, Anh Son district, resulting in one fatality and one seriously injured person.
According to initial information, at the time of the accident, a motorbike with license plate 37M1 - 000x, driven by a man and carrying a woman as a passenger, was crossing the road when it suddenly collided with a truck with license plate 21H- 375xx traveling on Ho Chi Minh Highway.
The powerful collision caused the motorcyclist to be dragged under the truck and die instantly. The woman riding behind him sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital by local residents.
According to the information, the two victims were a married couple residing in Lang Son commune, Anh Son district.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
