Two students riding their motorbike home from school collided with a pickup truck traveling in the same direction.
The accident occurred at 11:00 AM on March 31, 2025, in Ky Nam hamlet, Ky Son commune, Tan Ky district.
The victims were Dam Van H. and Tran Khac B., both born in 2008, residing in Tan Huong commune, Tan Ky district.
At the scene, a motorcycle without a license plate, driven by two students still wearing their school uniforms, collided in the same direction with a pickup truck bearing license plate 37C-55408, driven by Mr. LVH (Kỳ Nam hamlet).
The collision left two students on the motorbike seriously injured. Both vehicles sustained significant damage.
Immediately after the collision, the students were promptly taken to the nearest hospital for emergency treatment. However, Dam Van H. died, and Tran Khac B. was transferred to a higher-level hospital. All the victims were 11th-grade students at Tan Ky High School.
Authorities promptly arrived at the scene to secure the area, manage traffic flow, and coordinate the investigation into the cause and handling of the matter according to the law.
