Collision with pickup truck, two students injured and dead
Two students on their way home from school on a motorbike collided with a pickup truck going in the same direction.
The accident occurred at 11:00 a.m. on March 31, 2025, in Ky Nam hamlet, Ky Son commune, Tan Ky district.
The victims were Dam Van H. and Tran Khac B., both born in 2008, residing in Tan Huong commune, Tan Ky district.
At the scene, a motorbike without a license plate driven by two students still in uniform collided in the same direction with a pickup truck with license plate 37C-55408 driven by Mr. LVH (Ky Nam hamlet).
The collision left two students on the motorbike seriously injured. The vehicles were badly damaged.
Immediately after the collision, the students were promptly taken to the nearest hospital for emergency treatment. However, Dam Van H. died, and Tran Khac B. was transferred to a higher level hospital. The victims were all 11th grade students at Tan Ky High School.
The authorities were present in time to protect the scene, regulate traffic, and coordinate to investigate the cause and handle the incident according to the law.
