Carrying a knife to demand a vehicle to stop the violation, then slashing the police officer seriously injured
After being caught violating traffic laws, Y Sang Nie called more people with knives to insult and chase a police officer, seriously injuring him.
On the morning of May 21, Lieutenant Colonel Bui Trong Tuan, Chief of the General Staff Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police, said that the Investigation Agency of Krong Nang District Police had summoned Y Sang Nie (29 years old, residing in Tam Binh village, Krong Nang district) to investigate and clarify the acts of "Resisting a person on official duty" and "Intentionally causing injury".

According to Lieutenant Colonel Tuan, at around 5:00 p.m. on May 19, a task force consisting of Traffic Police and Public Order Police of Krong Nang District Police organized a patrol to ensure safety before the election day in Cu Klong Commune and discovered Y Sang Nie carrying another subject (identity unknown) riding a motorbike without a helmet.
The task force made a record and confiscated the vehicle documents of the two subjects, after which the two subjects left.
About 15 minutes later, the two subjects returned to the working group with knives to "demand" the vehicle documents back but were refused.

Unable to get the papers, the two subjects continuously threatened, insulted and intimidated the working group with knives. Seeing that the two subjects were too reckless and causing disorder, taking advantage of the moment, Lieutenant Pham Tien Dung (Order Police Team) rushed in to take the weapon from Y Sang Nie's hand, but this subject turned around and used a knife to slash his right hand, severing two tendons in his forearm.
Seeing their teammates being attacked, the task force was forced to shoot to threaten them, but the two subjects not only refused to comply but also attacked them with knives. Afterwards, the two subjects ran away.
The case is currently being investigated by Krong Nang District Police.
