New vaccine cures acne.
Vaccines create antibodies that destroy toxins on the skin.
According toWebMDAcne is the eighth most common skin disease in the world, affecting people of all ages. Treatment methods primarily involve creams, antibiotics, or medications, all of which have side effects such as dry skin and irritation.Skin lesions can spread and cause complications if not treated promptly.
Scientists have recently been researching a vaccine that could prevent acne. The vaccine targets common acne-causing bacteria, creating antibacterial agents that neutralize toxins on the skin. Once the toxins are neutralized, damage and inflammation within the skin stop developing.
This vaccine has been tested on animals and human skin samples. The results showed that the vaccine significantly reduced bacterial invasion of the skin, minimizing inflammation and side effects.
