Mobilizing over 3.3 billion VND to support martyrs' families in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - The Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province has called on and mobilized organizations and units to build 534 gratitude houses for relatives of martyrs in the province.
On the morning of January 12, the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs summarized the work in 2023 and deployed tasks for 2024. Attending the conference were representatives of provincial departments and branches. Comrade Ho Duc Thanh - Chairman of the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs chaired the conference.

Last year, responding to the appeal letter of the Provincial Party Secretary and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee "Tet for the poor", the association mobilized units, businesses... to support the families of martyrs.
To date, 22 organizations have donated more than 3.3 billion VND (exceeding the set target). From that resource, the association has supported the construction of 66 gratitude houses (each house worth 50-80 million VND) for families of martyrs; visited, presented gifts, and provided savings books to families with difficult policies; and buried the remains of martyrs.

Promoting the achieved results, in 2024, the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs will continue to do a good job of surveying and researching information about martyrs and searching for graves of martyrs and people with revolutionary contributions; supporting information to search for martyrs' remains and searching for, identifying the identities and graves of martyrs with missing information; supporting families of martyrs and heroic Vietnamese mothers in difficult circumstances; paying attention to building and developing the network of members in the province.


Strive to mobilize 2.5 billion VND, build 40 - 45 gratitude houses; give 1,800 gifts; 10 - 15 savings books... to families of martyrs and meritorious people.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 outstanding groups and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in the association's work in 2023.
