Operation and regulation of Song Quang and Chi Khe hydropower reservoirs
The Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense has just issued a Notice on the operation and regulation of Song Quang and Chi Khe hydropower reservoirs tonight.
At 18:20, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense received Notice No. 2107/2024/TB-SQ dated July 21, 2024 from Song Quang Hydropower Joint Stock Company on the operation of the Song Quang Hydropower Reservoir discharge project.
To ensure the safe operation and regulation of water at Song Quang Hydropower Reservoir in accordance with the procedures approved by the Provincial People's Committee and in accordance with the hydrological situation at the project, Song Quang Hydropower Joint Stock Company plans to operate and regulate Song Quang Hydropower Reservoir as follows:
Estimated time of regulatory operation:Starting from 21:30 on 21 July 2024.
Expected discharge:From 30 m3/s to 150 m3/s (including discharge flow through the valve gate, flow through the spillway and power generation flow through the generators).
Discharge end time:Until the flood is over.
The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention - Search and Rescue and Civil Defense informs: Que Phong District People's Committee; Heads of provincial Departments, Boards and Branches to inform authorities at all levels, agencies, units, investors who are constructing along the river, on the river, owners of water transport vehicles and all people in the downstream area of Song Quang Hydropower Plant to know and deploy necessary work, ensuring the safety of life and property of the State and People.
Also this evening, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense received Notice No. 07/2024/TB-CT dated July 21, 2024 from Chi Khe Hydropower Plant on the operation and regulation of the Chi Khe Hydropower Plant reservoir.
To ensure the safe regulation of Chi Khe hydropower plant's reservoir according to the approved single-reservoir process and inter-reservoir process on the Ca river basin, Chi Khe hydropower plant plans to operate and regulate Chi Khe hydropower reservoir as follows:
Estimated time of spillway discharge:At 23:00, July 21, 2024.
Discharge flow:Total discharge is about 506 m3/s to 900 m3/s (including the discharge flow through the spillway and the generation flow through the generator) and may change depending on the water flow to the lake.
Time to end water discharge through spillway:Until the water flow to Chi Khe lake is equivalent to the electricity generation flow through the generators.
The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention - Search and Rescue and Civil Defense informs the People's Committees of the districts: Con Cuong, Anh Son, Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen and Vinh city; Heads of provincial Departments, Boards and Branches; Road Management Area II to inform the authorities at all levels, agencies, units, investors who are constructing along the river, on the river, owners of water transport vehicles and all people in the area downstream of Chi Khe Hydropower Plant to know and deploy necessary work, ensuring the safety of life and property of the State and the People.
