The Office of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies and the People's Council of Nghe An Province join hands to support the poor in celebrating Tet Binh Ngo 2026.
Responding to the appeal from the Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee to support and assist the poor, those in difficult circumstances, and vulnerable people in celebrating the traditional Lunar New Year of the Horse in 2026, on the morning of January 10th, officials, civil servants, and employees of the Office of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies and the Provincial People's Council of Nghe An organized a fundraising and donation campaign.

Previously, on January 7, 2026, Comrade Nguyen Khac Than - Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee - issued a letter appealing to Party committees, governments, agencies, organizations, officials, Party members, the business community, and the people inside and outside the province to join hands in helping the poor celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year). According to the letter, in 2025, Nghe An was consecutively affected by three major storms, causing heavy damage to property and infrastructure, estimated at over 8,900 billion VND.
To date, the province still has over 80,270 poor and near-poor households, over 13,000 victims of Agent Orange, nearly 9,000 orphans, and many families with particularly difficult circumstances who need attention and support, especially during the Lunar New Year.

The Office of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and People's Council quickly launched a campaign, calling on all officials, civil servants, and employees to actively participate. A total of 30 million VND was donated, transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to promptly support the poor, those in difficult circumstances, and vulnerable people during the upcoming Lunar New Year.
