The Office of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies and the Provincial People's Council presented gifts to support flood victims in Tuong Duong.
On the morning of August 5th, a delegation from the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the People's Council of Nghe An province visited Tuong Duong commune to deliver gifts and support to flood-affected residents.
Accordingly, in Tuong Duong commune, the delegation presented 30 gift packages (each worth 1 million VND) to 30 households severely affected by the recent floods; along with some essential items including rice, blankets, seasoning powder, eggs, etc., to help the families overcome immediate difficulties in their daily lives.
This is not only timely material support but also a great source of moral encouragement, demonstrating the affection and responsibility of the Office of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies and the Provincial People's Council towards the people in the flood-affected areas.
Receiving the attention from the delegation, the leaders of Tuong Duong commune and the local residents were moved and expressed their gratitude, while affirming that they would strive to overcome the consequences of the natural disaster and restore normal life as soon as possible.
