Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Office held a press conference in the first quarter of 2021
(Baonghean.vn) - Chief of Office of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Dang Thanh Tung hopes to continue receiving the companionship, sharing and support of press agencies in promoting the achievements and results in all aspects of the province.
On the afternoon of March 25, the Provincial People's Committee Office held a press conference to inform about the socio-economic situation in the first quarter and key tasks and solutions in the second quarter of 2021.

Status reportNghe An province socio-economicThe meeting showed that the growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in Nghe An province in the first quarter of 2021 is estimated to increase by 6.73%. Of which, agriculture, forestry and fishery is estimated to increase by 4.71%; industry - construction increased by 11.7%; services are estimated to increase by 4.92%; product taxes minus product subsidies are estimated to increase by 4.25% over the same period in 2020.
In particular, in the first quarter, two important traffic routes, Cua Hoi Bridge, were officially opened to traffic and the Vinh - Cua Lo road was basically opened. Regarding foreign affairs, investment attraction and business development were promoted with many remarkable results. As of March 17, 2021, 16 new projects were granted and 27 projects were adjusted with a total newly granted and increased investment capital of more than 7,000 billion VND.

Regarding the budget collection task in the first quarter, it is estimated that the budget collection task in the first quarter will be over 4,100 billion VND, reaching 29.4% of the estimate, equal to 94% of the same period in 2020; budget expenditure is estimated to be nearly 5,680 billion VND, reaching 22.1% of the estimate. Some other areas, such as education and training, administrative reform, national defense, security... have many positive changes in the right direction.

At the conference, journalists' opinions reflected the request to the Provincial People's Committee and related departments and branches to clarify the following contents: The situation of agricultural product backlog, forecasting and planning solutions to solve the consequences for farmers; low-income housing projects; handling intersections to prevent accidents and ensure traffic safety when opening the route.Vinh – Cua Lo Avenue;Strengthening the handling of the above issues; mineral exploitation management; social network management.
