SJC GoldGold reversed its downward trend slightly, pushing prices up to 80.32 million VND/ounce, while world gold prices recorded a decline at the end of the week.
As of 5:00 AM on March 24th, the gold prices on the exchanges of several companies were as follows:
DOJI lists the price of 9999 gold at 78.10 million VND/ounce for buying and 80.10 million VND/ounce for selling.
Meanwhile, at Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the price of SJC gold listed at the time of the survey was 78.60 - 79.80 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price).
At Bao Tin Minh Chau Co., Ltd., the price of SJC gold is also being traded at 78.05 – 79.95 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 78.05 – 80.15 million VND/ounce (buying price – selling price).
The world gold price recorded at 5:00 AM Vietnam time today was 2,165.310 USD/ounce. Converted using the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is approximately 63.945 million VND/ounce (excluding taxes and fees).
The USD exchange rate rose to a 3-week high.

The central exchange rate of VND/USD today was announced by the State Bank of Vietnam at 24,003 VND/USD, an increase of 4 dong compared to the trading session on March 22nd.
Currently, the exchange rate allowed for trading by commercial banks ranges from 23,400 to 25,153 VND/USD.
On the global market, the US dollar index rose to a three-week high of around 104.4 points at the close of the trading week and is expected to rise for the second consecutive week, bolstered by bets that other major central banks may begin cutting interest rates sooner than the US Federal Reserve (FED).

At Vietcombank,The Japanese Yen exchange rate at Vietcombank is 158.70 VND/JPY for buying and 167.97 VND/JPY for selling, a decrease of 0.71 VND in the buying rate and 0.76 VND in the selling rate.
At Vietinbank, the Yen exchange rate increased by 0.34 dong in both buying and selling directions, equivalent to 159.4 VND/JPY and 169.1 VND/JPY respectively.
At BIDV Bank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.51 VND on the buying side and 0.56 VND on the selling side, reaching 159.3 VND/JPY and 167.8 VND/JPY respectively.
At Agribank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate is 159.61 VND/JPY for buying and 167.69 VND/JPY for selling – a decrease of 1.11 VND in the buying rate and 1.2 VND in the selling rate.
At Eximbank, the buying rate decreased by 0.56 VND and the selling rate decreased by 0.58 VND, reaching 161.06 VND/JPY and 165.75 VND/JPY respectively.
At Techcombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.41 VND on the buying side and 0.4 VND on the selling side, reaching 156.0 VND/JPY and 169.41 VND/JPY respectively.

Coffee pricesDomestic prices, updated at 5:17 AM on March 24th, decreased slightly by 200 VND/kg but remain high. Currently, the average purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is 94,900 VND/kg, with the highest price in Dak Nong province at 95,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, the purchase price of coffee in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces is quite high at 94,800 VND/kg; in Dak Nong province, coffee is purchased at the highest price of 95,000 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, and Lam Ha, the price of bulk green coffee beans (green coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) is 94,400 VND/kg.
In Dak Lak province, specifically in Cu M'gar district, coffee is being purchased at approximately 94,800 to 94,900 VND per kilogram.
