Gold continues its upward trend.

According to a survey conducted at 5:00 AM on March 3rd, the gold prices on the exchanges of several companies are as follows:

Today, DOJI lists 9999 gold at 77.65 million VND/ounce for buying and 80.25 million VND/ounce for selling.

Meanwhile, at Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the price of SJC gold listed at the time of the survey was 78.00 - 79.00 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price).

Bao Tin Minh Chau Co., Ltd. also traded gold at 77.85 - 80.25 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price).

On the world market, at 5:00 AM today (Vietnam time), the spot gold price was recorded at $2,082.730 per ounce. Converted using the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is approximately VND 61.157 million per tael (excluding taxes and fees).

February data continued to show a decline in US manufacturing activity, and consumer surveys from the University of Michigan also pointed to similar weakness. Furthermore, recent data released last Thursday revealed that the annual increase in US inflation in January was the smallest in nearly three years.

Meanwhile, New York Fed President John Williams recently expressed expectations of an interest rate cut later this year, highlighting easing inflation and a strong economy, while noting that current economic conditions do not necessitate an interest rate hike.

This week, 14 analysts participated in Kitco News' Gold Survey, and none predicted a decline in gold prices in the near future. The survey showed that 11 analysts, or 79%, were optimistic about gold. At the same time, three analysts, or 21%, held a neutral view on the precious metal.

The Japanese Yen continues its downward trend.

The details are as follows at the banks: At Vietcombank,The Japanese Yen exchange rate at Vietcombank is 158.96 VND/JPY for buying and 168.25 VND/JPY for selling, a decrease of 0.62 VND in the buying rate and 0.66 VND in the selling rate.

At Vietinbank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.09 dong in both buying and selling directions, equivalent to 160 VND/JPY and 169.7 VND/JPY respectively.

At BIDV Bank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.65 VND on the buying side and 0.69 VND on the selling side, reaching 160.01 VND/JPY and 168.45 VND/JPY respectively.

At Agribank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate is 159.88 VND/JPY for buying and 168.02 VND/JPY for selling - a decrease of 0.59 VND in the buying rate and 0.63 VND in the selling rate.

Eximbank reduced the buying rate by 0.95 VND and the selling rate by 1.05 VND, to 161.12 VND/JPY and 165.7 VND/JPY respectively.

At Techcombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.71 VND on the buying side and 0.76 VND on the selling side, reaching 157.51 VND/JPY and 170.02 VND/JPY respectively.

At Sacombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.88 VND on the buying side and 0.84 VND on the selling side, corresponding to 161.78 VND/JPY and 166.85 VND/JPY respectively.

Coffee prices surpass 85,000 VND/kg.

PricecoffeeDomestic prices, updated at 5:00 AM on March 3rd, continued to climb, increasing by up to 700 VND/kg. Currently, the average purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is 85,100 VND/kg, with the highest price in Dak Nong province at 85,400 VND/kg.

Specifically, in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces, the price was quite high at 85,200 VND/kg; in Dak Nong province, coffee was purchased at the highest price of 85,400 VND/kg.

In Lam Dong province, in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, and Lam Ha, the price of bulk green coffee beans (green coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) is 84,600 VND/kg.

In Dak Lak province, coffee is being purchased at prices ranging from 85,300 VND/kg to 85,400 VND/kg.

Live pig prices are around 56,000 VND/kg.

Today, March 3rd, live pig prices remained unchanged for the third consecutive day, averaging around 56,000 VND/kg.
