'Green gold' on the hills of Nghe An

The fragrant root plant, also known as fragrant grass, has become a staple crop, helping many farmers become wealthy. The fragrant root plant is considered "green gold" on the hills of Nghe An province.

rễ hương 2 — Agarwood root is a wild plant that is easy to cultivate but only suitable for red-yellow ferralitic soil. In particular, semi-mountainous areas like Quynh Thang and Tan Thang (Quynh Luu district) yield the highest productivity, highest medicinal properties, and the most distinctive aromatic scent.
