Entering the ward's People's Committee... to steal a motorbike.
In order to get money to redeem the motorbike he had borrowed from a friend and pawned earlier, the suspect sneaked into the People's Committee office of Loc Tien ward, Bao Loc city (Lam Dong province) to steal the motorbike, and then exchanged it for the one he had pawned.
On June 19th, the Loc Tien Ward Police announced that the thief, Le Duc Khoi (born in 1983, residing on Huynh Thuc Khang Street, Bao Loc City), had been arrested.
At the police station, the suspect confessed that he had previously borrowed a motorbike from a colleague and pawned it for 6 million VND. When the time came to return the motorbike, he lacked the money to redeem it. Taking advantage of a lapse in security at the Loc Tien Ward People's Committee, he sneaked in and stole the valuable motorbike belonging to a civil servant working at the ward.

Checking the trunk, the thief discovered another wristwatch and several related documents. He kept the watch and threw away the documents. Afterwards, Le Duc Khoi took the stolen motorbike to a pawn shop to exchange it for a motorbike he had borrowed from a friend and pawned earlier.
According to the police in Loc Tien ward, Bao Loc city, Le Duc Khoi has one prior conviction for theft.
