Designer Do Long recounts the process of creating the outfit that helped the female model gain attention from the Vietnamese diaspora during the Vietnamese Film Week in Australia.
| Last weekend, Ngoc Trinh attended the Vietnam Film Festival in Melbourne, Australia. The princess-style dress she wore, adorned with rhinestones, attracted much attention. This outfit was designed and created by designer Do Long. |
| The young designer said the process of creating this dress was quite elaborate. First, he sketched out several dress designs on paper, chose the one he liked best, and sent it to Ngoc Trinh for her approval. After it was approved, he and his workers began making it. |
| The designer chose a princess-style dress for Ngoc Trinh because he wanted Vietnamese audiences in Australia to perceive her as innocent and pure, rather than as someone who is typically associated with tight-fitting, revealing dresses. |
| The designer explained that the dress's intricate details lay in securely attaching the red and white faux crystal beads in various shapes. The arrangement of the beads on the dress's surface had to ensure a voluminous effect. Four workers had to work around the clock to meet the deadline. |
| The dress took about a month to create, including the research and selection of the main material, which was chiffon. The beadwork was done entirely by hand and took 15 days. Ngoc Trinh spent approximately 30 million VND to have this outfit made. |
| Do Long also helped Ngoc Trinh choose additional accessories to create a cohesive outfit, including Dior shoes and a Louboutin clutch. |
| Besides the main dress, Do Long also prepared six other white outfits for Ngoc Trinh, featuring lace and mesh details and designed with various materials. |
| This also helps to make the image of the beautiful actress more relatable to overseas Vietnamese when they come to watch the film "Waistline 56," in which she plays the lead role. |
At both major and minor events, Ngoc Trinh is meticulously cared for and prepared by her team, ensuring she presents a polished image every time she appears. |
