The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) branch in Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Tri organized a conference to summarize its work in supporting businesses.
On the afternoon of December 5th, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) branch in Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Tri organized a conference to summarize its business support activities for 2025, and to meet with and honor businesses.
The following comrades attended the conference:Nguyen Van De - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee;Bui Trung Nghia - Vice President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI); representatives of VCCI branches in Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Tri; and representatives from various departments, agencies, and businesses.
2025 will be a challenging year for businesses as localities undergo administrative reorganization and are repeatedly affected by storms and heavy rains, severely impacting production and business operations.
In this context, the VCCI Nghe An - Ha Tinh - Quang Tri Branch has made efforts to coordinate with departments, agencies, and the business community to successfully complete its assigned tasks. The Branch has implemented 38 support programs, including 33 training courses on AI, labor and social insurance policies, green growth, business skills, etc., attracting nearly 3,000 businesspeople, a 56.7% increase compared to 2024. The Branch has contributed to over 50 draft legal documents, received 15 business proposals, organized a trade promotion delegation to South Korea with 30 participating businesses, and maintained 380 members while recruiting 25 new members.
Besides the achievements, the Branch also frankly acknowledges some shortcomings that need to be addressed promptly. Some trade promotion activities have not been fully implemented; the collection of opinions and suggestions from businesses is sometimes not timely; business networking activities in the region and internationally are still limited; human resources are scarce while the workload is increasing...
Entering 2026, the Branch is determined to continue innovating the content and methods of supporting businesses; strengthening connections and expanding cooperation; improving the quality of training courses and the effectiveness of trade promotion. At the same time, it will focus on consolidating resources, strengthening its role as a bridge between businesses and management agencies, contributing to improving the business environment and promoting the sustainable development of the business community in the Nghe An - Ha Tinh - Quang Tri region in the coming time.
Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the provincial leadership, Comrade Nguyen Van De – Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – acknowledged and praised the important contributions of the business community and entrepreneurs of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Tri provinces.
Despite facing numerous difficulties, particularly the impact of natural disasters, market fluctuations, and rising input costs, businesses have persevered, maintained production, created jobs for hundreds of thousands of workers, made significant contributions to the national budget, and actively participated in social welfare.
Comrade Nguyen Van De extended his congratulations to the honored businesses, and wished all entrepreneurs and businesses good health, prosperity, and continued to uphold the spirit of solidarity, resilience, and aspiration for advancement of Nghe An entrepreneurs.
Entering a new phase of development with the goal of making Nghe An a prosperous province and a national-level growth pole by 2025-2030, Comrade Nguyen Van De emphasized the need to continue to strongly innovate in supporting businesses; enhance competitiveness; expand connections and cooperation between members and FDI enterprises; promote digital transformation, business ethics, and the spirit of sustainable development.
The province is committed to supporting businesses by improving the investment environment, enhancing the quality of administrative services, ensuring investment safety, accelerating infrastructure development, and creating a favorable foundation for businesses to confidently engage in long-term production and business. The comrade expressed confidence that the VCCI Nghe An - Ha Tinh - Quang Tri will continue to play its role as a bridge, contributing to building an increasingly strong business community.
