VCCI Nghe An celebrates its 60th anniversary.

In his welcoming speech, the representative of the VCCI Nghe An Branch stated: Sixty years ago, on April 27, 1963, on behalf of the Government Council, Prime Minister Pham Van Dong signed Decision No. 58-CP establishing the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now known as the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry.
Over the past 60 years, VCCI has continuously developed and become a solid support for the Vietnamese business community and entrepreneurs. As a national organization representing the Vietnamese business community, VCCI has contributed to promoting the formation and development of a market economy in our country, and building a strong team of businesses and entrepreneurs.improving the business and investment environment.

In recent years, VCCI has played an active role and made positive contributions to building fundamental viewpoints and policies that create a favorable business environment in Vietnam, actively developing and implementing the Enterprise Law and the Investment Law; and, together with other business associations, proposing to designate October 13th of each year as a national holiday.Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' DayHe proposed and participated in drafting the Project submitted to the Politburo for the issuance of a Resolution on building and promoting the role of the business community in the period of industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration.

Since 2005, VCCI has also conducted research, published findings, and provided consulting support to localities to improve their Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) annually, thereby promoting emulation movements, improving the quality of economic management and administrative reform in localities; organizing and participating in economic policy dialogue forums, honoring businesses, etc.

In Nghe An province, VCCI has been collaborating with the province on various aspects, including providing consulting support to improve component indicators within the PCI; and advising on the development of DDCI indicators for departments, agencies, and district-level authorities.

Attending the commemorative ceremony, Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee,The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee congratulated VCCI withThe meeting acknowledged the 60-year journey of partnership with businesses and recognized the contributions of the business community to economic development over the past period. The role and position of VCCI (Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry) are increasingly important in the economic development and improvement of the business environment of the province. Therefore, Nghe An hopes that in the coming time, VCCI and its member businesses will continue to build on the achievements already made; strive even harder to develop businesses, contribute to the province's economic growth, support the province in social welfare tasks in disadvantaged areas; and truly be a bridge between the province and businesses for a Vietnam in general and Nghe An in particular that is increasingly strong and prosperous.
