| Phuc Hau communal house is located in the center of Phuc Hau village, Lam Son commune, and was built in 1843. During the feudal era, the communal house served as a cultural center for the village, as well as a place of worship for the village's guardian deity and those who contributed to the homeland and the country. |

Phuc Hau Temple and the ancient banyan tree next to it were once the place where revolutionary soldiers planted the red flag with the hammer and sickle to call on the people to fight to reduce high taxes and levies. During the resistance war, the temple served as a warehouse for military supplies and food, and as a venue for the Inter-Regional Conference 4, etc. After nearly 200 years of existence, having gone through many ups and downs, the temple still retains its original architecture with a massive five-bay building, roofed with yin-yang tiles. |

Compared to other ancient communal houses still existing in Do Luong, Phuc Hau Communal House is quite large. The wooden frame of the communal house is designed in the style of a gong stand with a symmetrical design, giving it an elegant and balanced appearance. |

Of the six trusses in the communal house, two main trusses are specially constructed with many intricately carved and detailed images and patterns, creating the main aesthetic appeal of the structure. |

On these pillars, the overlapping beam and bracket structure is clearly visible, painted to highlight the patterns and components. Compared to Dong Vien communal house in Nam Phuc commune (Nam Dan district), the density and themes of the carvings at Phuc Hau communal house are not as numerous, but it still creates its own unique impression with its graceful and vigorous carvings. |

Unlike some ancient temples, Phuc Hau Temple does not have surrounding walls, but the temple's beams are supported by brick pillars, creating a sturdy yet airy structure. |

On the roofs of Phuc Hau communal houses, the corners of the roofs curve upwards like eaves, and the edges are decorated with beautiful images of dragons, phoenixes, unicorns, and mythical creatures. |

Throughout its centuries-old history, Phuc Hau Temple, covered in moss, along with the ancient banyan tree casting its shade over the village road, is not only a testament to countless historical events in the locality, but also an integral part of the homeland's soul, preserving the memories of countless generations of Lam Son people. In 2012, Phuc Hau Temple was recognized as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic. |
