Maserati marks a new chapter in the brand's history as it enters the luxury sports SUV market with the Levante.

Maserati has applied a range of new technologies and techniques to produce its first SUV. The new generation engine was designed by the renowned expert Paolo Martinelli – who spent nearly 30 years at Ferrari as chief engine engineer for the Ferrari F1 racing team. Accompanying the new engine is an 8-speed automatic transmission, along with suspension, brakes, and steering systems… all specially developed by Maserati in Modena.

The Maserati Levante has a starting price of 4.99 billion VND in Vietnam.

The Levante boasts a sleek, coupe-like exterior, particularly the frameless door design and the large front grille, a hallmark of the Italian automaker, featuring the iconic trident logo in the center.

The interior focuses on luxury through the use of high-end materials, from leather to Ermenegildo Zegna silk fabrics, or patterned woods combined with high-tech carbon fiber details.

The standard version is equipped with a 3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine producing 345 horsepower, while the high-performance Levante S uses the same engine but boasts 424 horsepower.

Along with the Quattroporte, Ghibli, GranTurismo, and GranCabrio, the new Levante completes Maserati's product line, filling the highest segments of the luxury car market.

Maserati's idea of developing a luxury sports SUV is not surprising, as 13 years earlier, Maserati introduced the Kubang Concept – a luxury SUV design – at the 2003 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).

The Levante became the first sport utility vehicle (SUV) since Maserati was founded in 1914, officially making its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland this March.
