The series "Because My Mother Decided We Break Up" directed by Vu Khac Tuan has become a sensation with over 400 million views, achieving top social media engagement thanks to the chemistry between Vo Dien Gia Huy and Tam Trieu Dang.
After one month since its release, director Vu Khac Tuan's series "Because My Mother Decided We're Breaking Up" has solidified its prominent position in the television market with over 400 million views across multiple platforms. According to data from SocialTrend (YouNet Media), the series consistently topped the most popular discussion topics during its broadcast days. Recently, the production team also impressed by organizing a live event connecting with 350 fans in Ho Chi Minh City, a rare occurrence in the current long-running series segment.

Dramatic events and real-life emotions behind the scenes.
The drama's intensity currently centers on the tense plot points in episodes 9 and 10. The climax occurs when Mrs. Mai (Meritorious Artist Hong Anh) discovers that Trieu Phu (Vo Dien Gia Huy) is faking paralysis. This leads to direct conflicts as Mrs. Mai uses pressure to break up the relationship between her son and Thanh Tam (Tam Trieu Dang). While Trieu Phu is determined to fight for his love, Thanh Tam is worried about the social status barrier.
In contrast to the on-screen tension, the lead couple's chemistry behind the scenes was natural. Tam Triều Dâng, with her extensive experience, proactively energized her co-star right from the pre-production stage. She shared that this proactive approach to understanding and connecting helped both of them reduce stress throughout the long filming process.

Notably, Vo Dien Gia Huy frankly admitted that he had genuinely felt moved by his co-star's attention. The actor revealed that Tam Trieu Dang's proactive inquiries about his life and family made him feel more connected, sometimes creating special emotions beyond the script.

Director Vu Khac Tuan also confirmed that the lead couple brought the most positive energy to the film crew. He revealed that sometimes he had to adjust so that Vo Dien Gia Huy would show reciprocal concern for his female co-star in order to maintain balance in their performances.

Assessments from accomplished artists.
The project's success stems not only from viewership but also from its veteran cast. Meritorious Artist Hong Anh, who reunited with Tam Trieu Dang after the film Hoa Vuong, praised the younger actors' ability to grasp the concept and their flexibility. She highly appreciated the work ethic of the current generation of young actors, including Vo Dien Gia Huy, Tran Ngoc Vang, and Thuy Anh.

Actor Quoc Huy also shared the same opinion, stating that the enthusiasm and passion of the younger generation of actors are key factors in maintaining the film's appeal. "My Mother Decided to Break Up" has a total of 16 episodes and is currently airing regularly at 8 PM every Friday and Saturday.
