(Baonghean.vn) - Before the end of the 2020 season, Hong Linh Ha Tinh fans received incredibly good news when midfielder Phi Son agreed to play for his hometown team from the next season. It is understood that the 28-year-old player will play for Hong Linh Ha Tinh until the end of the 2023 season.
Phi Son's talent is undeniable. The player nicknamed "Vietnamese Ronaldo" possesses exquisite individual technique, excellent tactical vision, and extensive playing experience. His achievements while playing for SLNA and Ho Chi Minh City FC are clear evidence of this. In theory,the appearance of Phi SonThis will make Hong Linh Ha Tinh stronger than in the previous season.

Unfortunately, coach Pham Minh Duc doesn't like players who play based on inspiration like Phi Son. This season, Hong Linh Ha Tinh is one of the most pragmatic and calculated teams in the V.League. Team spirit is always strictly adhered to by Pham Tuan Hai and his teammates at all times and in all circumstances.
Following Hong Linh Ha Tinh's 3-2 victory over Quang Nam in Round 13 of the first phase of the V.League 2020, the strategist born in 1976 affirmed: "I used to be a youth training specialist, and from that experience, I always want to create opportunities for young players and place absolute trust in them. Frankly, I don't like older players, and I especially don't like star players from other teams. You know, football is a team sport, so we must be united and play with the utmost desire and dedication."
Now, coach Pham Minh Duc has decided to recruit Phi Son, a player with an individualistic playing style and a penchant for dribbling. Perhaps the former Hanoi FC coach has figured out how to maximize the talent of the midfielder born in 1992, something that coach Chung Hae-seong of Ho Chi Minh City FC hasn't yet achieved.

It's worth remembering that at the beginning of this season, the "Hong Mountain" team also had an aging star in Le Tan Tai, a former midfielder of the Vietnamese national team. However, during the mid-season transfer window, Hong Linh Ha Tinh and the midfielder from Khanh Hoa parted ways. Le Tan Tai's contribution during his time playing for the newly promoted V.League 2020 team was quite modest.
Nevertheless, at Hang Day Stadium, Le Tan Tai was frequently used by coach Chu Dinh Nghiem. Only truly outstanding players could break into the starting lineup of the Hanoi team.
