To mention a role "tailored" for People's Artist Le Khanh, the audience cannot ignore the Hanoi-style film "Vertical Summer" by director Tran Anh Hung.

"Vertical Summer" is like a narrative, a sobbing story about love and life through a period of life of three sisters in Hanoi who love each other very much.

In addition to her impressive acting ability, it is undeniable that the graceful and gentle beauty of People's Artist Le Khanh is what makes her have a certain position in the hearts of the audience. Le Khanh possesses a very unique and cinematic beauty.

Critic Roger Ebert once commented on Le Khanh's role in the work: "For me, Khanh (played by People's Artist Le Khanh) has the most shining moment in the film. In a close-up scene, Khanh really wants to say something, and she decides to say that she is pregnant. A woman's lips must suppress the joy inside. The moment Khanh stops before speaking is such a beautiful moment."

Talking about "Vertical Summer", critic Lawrence Chua commented: "Tran Anh Hung has created a film that is both dreamlike and real. It depicts the correlation between context and content, what we see is what we face, bitterness and complexity are part of colorful life".
