The Provincial People's Procuracy implements its supervisory work plan for 2026.

Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy Ho Duc Anh and Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than attended and directed the conference.

Attending the conference were former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong; along with members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Head of the Internal Affairs Department Ho Le Ngoc; Director of the Provincial Police Major General Dinh Viet Dung; and leaders of various departments and agencies. Bui Viet Cuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Provincial People's Procuracy, chaired the meeting.

Successfully met and exceeded many work targets.

In 2025, the People's Procuracy at both levels will effectively implement the policies, regulations, directives, rules, and guidelines on the work of the People's Procuracy sector, including many specific and innovative measures.

The progress in implementing key tasks and operational targets is in line with the set plan. Each year, the unit successfully completes and exceeds many work targets. The breakthrough areas identified for the year are focused on and have achieved some outstanding results.

With the motto: "Earlier, closer, deeper, sharper," the People's Procuratorates at both levels have implemented many solutions to ensure that the prosecution and supervision of judicial activities in the criminal field are in accordance with regulations, preventing the trial panel from declaring the defendant not guilty.

The supervision of the resolution of administrative cases, civil cases, marriage and family cases, business and commercial cases, labor cases, and other matters is carried out in accordance with the law, and timely objections and recommendations are issued.

Working closely with judicial agencies, relevant authorities have successfully resolved numerous complex criminal cases related to economic crimes, corruption, social order and safety, and drug-related crimes with particularly serious consequences; as well as many complex civil, administrative, civil enforcement, and complaint cases that have attracted public attention.

From July 1, 2025, the People's Procuracy at both levels has seriously implemented and organized the regulations on the duties, powers, and authority of the Procuracy in the work of exercising the power of prosecution and supervising judicial activities immediately after the implementation of the policy of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus.

The People's Procuratorates at both levels have regularly reviewed and monitored the progress of resolving civil and administrative enforcement cases. Emphasis has been placed on supervising case files with signs of violations, complex complaints, and prolonged disputes.

Focus on resolving cases related to economic crimes, corruption, and cases involving the application of coercive measures such as asset seizure and auction.

Ensuring a stable environment contributes to the province's development.

Delivering a keynote address at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than provided an overview of the outstanding achievements in the province's socio-economic development; and affirmed that the People's Procuracy at both provincial and district levels had made a very important contribution to these results.

Emphasizing the province's very high development goals for 2026 and the entire 2025-2030 term, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the People's Procuratorate at both provincial and district levels to focus intensely, continuously, and strengthen the absolute, direct, and comprehensive leadership of the Party over judicial work.

Every official in the prosecution sector must thoroughly understand the directive of General Secretary To Lam that the prosecution sector must be a pillar in protecting the law, contributing to building a disciplined, just, and law-abiding society.

The supervisory work must effectively serve the political tasks of the locality by ensuring that the law is strictly enforced, creating a fair and healthy competitive environment, and resolving economic and environmental cases effectively. This will further strengthen investor confidence, leading to rapid and sustainable local economic development.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than also requested that the People's Procuratorate at both levels in Nghe An province continue to improve the quality of exercising the power of prosecution and supervising judicial activities. He emphasized that preventing wrongful convictions and ensuring that no crimes go unpunished is a continuous and most important task.

In the work of supervising the resolution of administrative and civil cases, it is necessary to enhance competence and professionalism to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the State and the People.

In addition, focus on leading and directing the effective implementation of viewpoints, policies, and solutions regarding judicial work. Accelerate the progress of resolving cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Steering Committee, as well as cases and incidents subject to the implementation of Directive No. 26 of the Politburo and Guidance No. 04 of the Party Central Committee.

Continue to innovate leadership methods and approaches; promote the application of information technology and digital transformation. Emphasis must be placed on Party building and sectoral development. Strengthen close coordination with judicial agencies and other organizations, departments, and branches within the political system.

In his remarks at the conference, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy Ho Duc Anh acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the People's Procuracy at both provincial and district levels in Nghe An province in 2025 and expressed his hope that the unit would continue to build on these results in the coming years.

In the coming period, the Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy requested that the People's Procuracy at both provincial and district levels in Nghe An province absolutely ensure the principle of Party leadership; and thoroughly understand that procuracy work is political work in each case, in each stage, from management positions to professional positions.

In addition, the People's Procuratorate at both provincial and district levels in Nghe An province must continue to do a good job in prosecution and judicial supervision with the view that there will be no wrongful convictions, no errors, and no crimes will go unpunished, while ensuring accuracy, truthfulness, and thoroughness.

The Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy requested that the People's Procuracy at both provincial and district levels in Nghe An province strengthen training and skill development for its staff. The goal is to build a team of officials capable of mastering information technology; possessing the knowledge and ability to handle cases involving foreign elements.

Strengthen digital transformation efforts with the perspective of acting immediately, early, strongly, and decisively. Build a culture of integrity, discipline, and service within the sector; officials must be impartial, capable, courageous, close to the people, and understand the people.

The Provincial People's Procuracy needs to continue providing sound advice to the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Executive Board, and especially the Provincial Party Secretary, on relevant issues to ensure stability in the province and contribute to economic growth and socio-economic development. At the same time, it should closely coordinate with relevant agencies, especially the Internal Affairs and Prosecution agencies, to effectively resolve cases and incidents.

On this occasion, the Government awarded the 2025 Emulation Flag to the People's Procuracy of Region 1; the Prime Minister awarded a Certificate of Merit to the collective of Department 9; and the Supreme People's Procuracy awarded the 2025 Emulation Flag to the collective of the Provincial People's Procuracy and to 4 departments of the Regional People's Procuracy.
