The representative of the Hanoi People's Procuracy proposed that Mr. Dinh La Thang be sentenced to 14-15 years in prison for intentionally violating the law, and Mr. Trinh Xuan Thanh be sentenced to life in prison for two crimes: embezzlement and intentionally violating the law.
The indictment determined that Mr. Dinh La Thang supported Trinh Xuan Thanh.

Mr. Dinh La Thang, in his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors of PVN, assigned the bid to PVC company, of which Trinh Xuan Thanh was the general director, directed the signing of contracts, and advanced thousands of billions in violation of regulations.
