Vietnam wins 10 gold medals at ASEAN Skills Competition.

Winning 10 gold medals in 6 skill groups, Vietnam ranked 3rd at the 2016 ASEAN Skills Competition.

On the evening of September 28th, the 11th ASEAN Skills Competition concluded in Malaysia. The Vietnamese delegation won 10 gold medals, 5 silver medals, 4 bronze medals, and 15 certificates of excellence. Six skill groups in which Vietnamese contestants won gold medals were CNC Machine Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering Design - CAD, Bricklaying, and Industrial Automation.

Mr. Cao Van Sam, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Vocational Training, shared that the Vietnamese delegation made great efforts, with contestants effectively applying their vocational skills. However, other delegations also invested equally well. The victory was evenly distributed among the countries.

DTaking place from September 24th to 26th, the skills competition attracted 280 contestants from 9 ASEAN countries competing in 25 trades. The Vietnamese delegation consisted of 44 participants.
