Vietnam's electricity access index has risen 32 places, according to the World Bank's assessment.

Surveys conducted by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in recent years show that the application of electronic invoices, online payments, and online information retrieval are noteworthy developments. Changes in the electricity access index are no longer solely related to the industry and trade sector, but also to the country's overall business environment. Clearly, the achievements made over the past period have been highly appreciated by investors, businesses, and consumers.

"Recently, the electricity sector has focused on strong administrative procedure reforms and paid more attention to the needs of electricity customers. Customer satisfaction assessment programs and programs to improve service quality and customer care have also received positive feedback from businesses," commented Mr. Dau Anh Tuan, Head of the Legal Department of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
